Our Normal Materials Recovery Facility

Our site in Normal, IL includes a commercial recycling plant and a Materials Recovery Facility that processes residential single stream. The commercial plant was established in 2001 and offers specialized services for printers, as it is able to process large paper rolls and butt rolls. It also includes an industrial shredder that can process books and other hard-to-recycle items. The MRF was established ten years later, in 2011, and focuses on residential single-stream. Servicing the Town of Normal, the City of Bloomington, and the City of Decatur, the site includes rail access for economical, energy-efficient shipping, exemplifying innovation and sustainability.
